I
have two series of rods.
Standard Series
are
rods with off-the-shelf reel seats and hook keepers of your choosing. They come
with aluminum rod tube and rod sack for the price listed.
Custom Series
rods come with selection of up to two of my custom-made options, which include
F. E. Thomas style hook keeper, custom made reel seats (bronze or nickel
silver), straight or rope knurl, blued or bright hardware. Includes aluminum rod
case and rod sack.
Limited Edition Series.
I
have not decided yet if there is enough interest in this, but I am tossing
around the idea of making a complete rod by me, including snake guides,
ferrules, reel seat, hook keeper, with leather rod tube for $3,000 (hollow or
solid). Rod would be serial numbered and there would only be a certain number
made. If you have an interest in this, send me an email.
HEXAGON RODS
Economy Priced Rod (Skinny Wallet Series)
These rods are only made at a certain time of year
This rod is for "skinny wallet" people who are interested in a bamboo rod
but don't want to spend a lot of money on a rod. A very basic rod, with
one-color wraps. Wraps are wrapped on top of the varnished rod (not the
whole rod dipped over). The whole rod is made by me, with quality ferrules
and reel seat. Nothing is outsourced.

Standard Rod Series Custom Rod Series (add $250 to price listed)
This is my standard rod series. All rods below can be made as standard or
with optional custom-made (by me) F. E. Thomas style winding check and my
custom reel seats in either nickel silver or bronze hardware, and so on.
Check the options page. In this series, the whole rod is varnish dipped.
